Tatra Auto Klub Slovakia was established at the beginning of 1997 on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the car production beginning in Koprivnice.
The club associates are owners of historical and modern Tatra automobiles as well as people interested in the Tatra cars and their history. The club serves as a platform for exchange of experiences among the Tatra enthusiasts as well as for propagation of the mark Tatra in Slovakia and abroad.
The history of Tatra vehicles is closely related to Slovakia from the beginning. Indeed, the name Tatra originates from the Tatra mountains (Vysoke Tatry) the highest mountain range in the Slovakia.
